I have not tested other, but in that the there is an extra loop for the tuner (which is not included in other models) so really 6 loops for pedals. I can, leaving an example frees more and plugging my Line 6 in the loop since I can order it by noon. IT is possible to control the sound of his amp footswitch. Then that makes for a pedal to lug around. A power supply is included for all pedals. No more mutiprises and extension cords that never end. I use the Wah Wah with a pad. Well it makes you wonder how we did before. Especially since my Wah, a interuptor deported. Well there you set foot, Wah snaps. You take your foot off the Wah and turns off. There is no lag nothing. The possibilities are enormous. Routing does not alter its effects. I use it to control the channels of my amp head, and the effects and also Tc G Force in the afternoon to delay, pitch etc. It's a great product that does not really equivalent. Noted that I also acquired the extension 1000 and I thank those who helped me once (on G.com mainly) to install all this because like any self-respecting guitarist, I'm no Midi The value is as always with G-Lab: perfect. This is my first pdalier. Management 6 loops, MIDI program change 3, 7, exchange control, a buffer dbrayable, 4 channels relay, 6 outputs 9V cable sold in 2 isolated section. Blocker button parameters. Wah pad option. Game LED indicator state. This is the point nvralgique my set, he controls everything and does it well.     Kinda suprised Digi didnt make a controller just for Eleven like Line 6 POD, Amplitube, and Guitar Rig do.I personally dont like that style of controller with small button, i prefer the larger ones. But any way, will the screen on the Ground Control spell out the names of the Amp models in the rack. We'll have a template for the Ground Control specifically coming at a future date. As for why we didn't do our own foot controller - another good question that I don't have a solid answer to. With the Stomp IO you will not only get the controller but all the Amplitube products. Thats nice because you could position the volume or wah pedals away from the main pedal. The Stomp IO is pretty much like the Eleven Rack, as it is also an interface. Roland makes great products. Iv never had a problem with them.Its hard to mess that up. The pro is, its cheap, and you got lots of pedals, con is its not as sturdy as the Roland or Stomp, but if your not jamming your foot into it like you would a red headed step child it will hold up fine.     It has a tuner out, has a buffer that really cleans up the signal and powers your pedals, and you can program it via USB on a PC. If you bought a Voodoo Labs solution, you'd still need a power supply on top of the looper and foot controller and it'd cost you a grand easily. DarrenI had made my mind up to get the softstep and now you made me waiver lol My number one priority is the midi control initially.The manual I downloaded for this unit is well pretty terrible, so I was concerned about the flexibility of the midi implementation, but the audio switching is very very tempting too, to be honest I am only starting with hardware effects so this feature would be an investment in the future. (if I get the softstep then at some point a audio loop switcher Voodoo labs or FAMC or similar would be on the cards.) damn it! I use it like this: Bottom row, plus buttons 0 and 9 - these I use for presets. I can switch on any of the loops, the buffer, control 2 x MIDI devices (and more if you configure it differently) Top row 6, 7 and 8 - I use these (generally) for IA switches. Each one can turn on a loop, or send a CC, or a PC You can have each bank work differently (and there are 10 banks). So you could have 5 IA switches. Or 2. Whatever. And a different set on another bank.

    For instance, Bank 1 I have all the stuff where I need to add a TS808 (Streets, AIWIY) and that is activated with button 7. Other banks I have things like BD, which is 4 presets that send MIDI and activate loops, and One, no IA buttons required. Just takes a bit of thinking about to maximise it. However: the real question is do these footcontrollers transmit CCs with pre-defined max values instead of just 0-127. In my experience: not many. Since it basically navigates between your tracks (regardless of what type of machine any of these track uses). Your first two values listed are aimed towards PickUp machines. The third (seq lock start) is a “combo control” together with other tracks to have them synced to your (first) loop. Od G-labu mam jeste Wah-pad pod kvakadlo a po dosavadnich zkusenostech bych se od nich nebal koupit vubec nic. Osobne pouzivam rezim, kdy mam k dispozici vsech 10 presetu v kazde bance. Kdyby se nekdo nasel, muzeme se podelit o postovne. Shop napr.,g-lab.html Mozna ti nabidnou vic, nez zakaznickych 6%. Jsem z toho trochu jelen, nikdy jsem s midi nepracoval. Vyslat midi povel se mi povedlo pomerne snadno, ten klient v pocitaci je hodne uzitecny. Clovek nemusi byt porad predehnuty a je to hezky prehledne. Nicmene chapu spravne, ze kdyz vyslu povel, ktery zapne smycku v externi liste, musim pak jeste vyslat povel, ktery ji vypne. Pro me to tedy znamena, ze ke kazdemu presetu, kde neni smycka z externi listy musim priradit pokyn na vypnuti smycek v externi liste. Neni zpusob, jak to obejit. Diky, tady jeste manual externi listy. Spis vysvetli, co a proc v jake situaci v podiu potrebujes prepnout.

    Samozrejme na GSC mas jeste 6 internich smycek. Prepnu na preset s delayem (ktery je v 4x midi loop) pomoci midi pokynu. Pak chci prepnou zpatky na preset s boosterem a TS. Nicmene smycka v externi liste (s delayem) zustane zapnuta, pokud muj preset s TS neobsahuje i pokyn pro jeji vypnuti. Tim padem mam pak vlastne ve vsech presetech obsazeny jeden midipokyn.Chces to v stereu? P.S.: Absence plnohodnotne stereo smycky je pro mne snad jedina vada na krase GSC. Udelat s nim jd, ale spotrbuji se na to cca 4 smycky. Co se tyce looperu se stereo smyckou, vim jen o Carl Martin Octaswitch (ten je bez MIDI) a GigRig u. Pripadne elegantnejsi reseni je mit kontroler s dostatkem smycek. Treba ty dva vyse uvedene maji o 2 vic nez GSC. Tenhle taky. Anyone has it? It's the same but the switches are different. Really heavy duty metal, and the switches barely move at all - they're almost touch sensitive, which sounds wierd but it actually works really well. The jack connectors feel really solid, and the power cable screws on to the unit so there's no chance it'll be accidentally pulled out. But it isn't. In fact I can already hit those switches without needing to look at the switcher! It doesn't bother me at all. The switches are relay based which means there is the slightest moment of silence when you select a new preset. I was worried that'd be a problem for me but you can only hear it when the sound is drastically changing, like clean to fuzz. But i've started pressing the button just ahead of the change, and when I do that I can't hear any gap while we're playing. No biggie, and will probably be for the best on a dark stage where you wouldn't be able to see the lights otherwise. I did make switch 10 a modifier, which means that I can turn on my modulation in addition to whichever patch I've selected in bank 1.
